Langkawi Development Authority aims at its next target - Australia - to attract more foreign tourists after the success in Singapore, India and Germany.
Pishol Ishak, Kedah branch chairman of the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents, said there would be a roadshow held in Australia in October to promote Langkawi Island. He said that 43,000 Australians visited this resort island last year and there were 15,000 for the first six months this year.
