We win a 'Grand Award'
and a 'Gold Award'
by the ‘Pacific Asia Travel Association’ (PATA).
The ‘Grand Award’ in the heritage category goes to the ’Temple Tree, Langkawi’ (Bon Ton Resort). It's chosen, because with its restored and unique antique homes it delivers a truly Malaysian holiday experience. And: the profit of the resort helps to fund LASSie.
In the Environmental Education Programme category, the Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa, Langkawi, won a Gold Award for their on-site Environmental Education programme.
Based in Bangkok, the ‘Pacific Asia Travel Association’ (PATA) is probably the most important regional Travel Association.
