This Sunday - the First Tiger Airways Jet flew direct from Singapore to Langkawi

After AirAsia, Silk Air (Singapore) and Malaysia Airlines, Tiger Airways is now the 4th airline flying directly from Singapore to Langkawi.
“The Airline will be using the Airbus A320 with capacity for 180 passengers and the flights are scheduled four times weekly, on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.”

Besides that, Kedah Tourism Action Council chairman Datuk Othman Aziz said: "Jetstar is scheduled to operate flights between Singapore and Langkawi in October."

The Jetstar Group consists wholly owned Qantas subsidiaries operating from Australia and New Zealand.

I just took a roundtrip from Singapore and it was a beautiful experience! If I never have to see KL budget terminal again I will be so happy! Singapore budget terminal was so efficient and then Tiger staff were oh so wonderful....:) Oh yeah...a beautiful thing indeed!
