'Football & Art' Exhibition in the
Underwater World Langkawi
I did not know, what to expect, as I went to this art show. I am German - and so I was born with the " Football - Gene " - but this here did indeed surprise me:
The different ways 17 different artists did see and interpret one and the same thing is quite fantastic.
There are naive, abstract and digital works of art as well as statues made from copper and brass.
And as you can imagine, the artists have to buy their food as you and me and that’s why all the works of art are for sale . . .
The show did kick - off officially on Friday, 11 June 2010 and the exhibition continues until the final whistle on Sunday, 11 July 2010.
