Four Season Resort organizes a Golf Charity Tournament on April 24, 2010 at Gunung Raya.
Four Seasons Resort runs a charity event, "Walk For Life"of which funds raised are donated to the school of children with down syndrome in Langkawi and CARIF - Cancer Research Foundation in Kuala Lumpur. The main event of Walk For Life 2010 will take place on June 19, 2010 at 4pm in the Langkawi Fair Shopping Centre.
Three schools in Langkawi were ordered to close for a short term - as students were found to have developed symptoms of fever, cough and influenza. The spokesman said his quarter was awaiting a report from the Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor if there was any element of Influenza A (H1N1) infection. (Source: Daily Express).
