The Raja Muda Selangor
International Regatta

REGATTA DINNER PARTY at

ROYAL LANGKAWI YACHT CLUB

A popular sailing event with a tradition of 22 years, the Raja Muda Selangor International Regatta was entered by sailing crews from all over the world.  Starting  from the Royal Selangor Yacht Club
in Port Klang on 18th November, this annual                Nick Burns and Fred Kinmonth
island hopping regatta included 240 miles of
overnight passage races along the west coast of Malaysian Peninsula, and three days of harbor racing in Penang and Langkawi.

For the 15th year now, the final races took place in Langkawi’s Bass Harbour, and gala dinner and prize presentation were hosted by the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club. The celebratory dinner party on Saturday the 26th November was attended by more than 300 guests who came to applaud the winners. The major trophy went to EFG Bank Mandrake skippered by Fred Kinmonth and Nick Burns.

With an exquisite buffet, extensive selection of beverages, great music, and the sailing spirit in the air, the party went on until late in the night!
