As far as I know, there is 1 bookshop on Langkawi, that deserves this name (in Kuah). And it serves mainly for educational purposes for the locals, but has also some books in English and some English Magazines.
It's name is Barkath Book Store.
There is one shop in Kuah which sells Magazines. It's name is
Beside this there is quite a big stock of used book in SK Intertrade in Kuah.
and free book swop in the Pier Pier Restaurant.
There are certainly more places like that, but that's what I am aware of at the moment.
Beside that there is also a Public Library with English Books.
